Obituary for Deirdre Lynn "Dee" Norris (Kachik)

Deirdre Lynn "Dee"  Norris (Kachik)
Deirdre Lynn 'Dee' Norris , 47, of Curwensville, died on Friday, July 5, 2013.

She was born on July 10, 1965 in Philipsburg, a daughter of Andrew G. Kachik of Clarence and the late Jean (Gillette) Kachik.

Dee attended St. Timothy Catholic Church, Curwensville and was a member of the Clarence American Legion Auxiliary Post 813.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Paul E. Norris of Curwensville; two daughters, Haley Gill and husband Jason of Dalzell, SC and Cassi Norris of Curwensville; a granddaughter Sophia whom she cherished; a sister, Belinda J. Dixon and husband Tom of Johnstown; two brothers, Andrew W. Kachik of State College and Michael G. Kachik and wife Shelly Liliedahl of Clarence; and her father-in-law, Moses 'Sonny' Norris Jr. of Westover.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Betty Norris; her paternal grandparents, Andrew and Susan Kachik; and her maternal grandparents, William and Althea Gillette.

She will be known for being a great mother to Haley and Cassi and the most loving grandmother to her 'little monkey' Sophia.

Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Timothy Catholic Church, Curwensville on Thursday at 11:00 am with Father Mark J. Mastrian as celebrant. Interment will be in the Askey Cemetery, Snow Shoe.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
