Margaretta L. "Peggy"  Anderson (Mullins)
Margaretta L. 'Peggy' Anderson, 81, of Curwensville died on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home.

She was born on April 12, 1933 in Big Run, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Margaretta (Shankle) Mullins.

Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family, spending time with children and grandchildren and doing embroidery work. She was a member of the Hepburnia United Methodist Church.

She is survived by eight children, Andrew Steven Anderson and wife Beatrice of Walltown, Roger Lee Anderson and wife Vicki of MD, David Allen Anderson and wife Terry of Pittsburgh, Edward Dean Anderson and wife Janet of Mahaffey, Jack Wayne Anderson and wife Rhoda of Curwensville, Darrell Glenn Anderson and wife Amelia of Curwensville, Timothy Lee Anderson and wife Cathy of Curwensville and Tina Hutton of Grampian; twenty six grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; eight brothers, Rodney Mullins of DuBois, Albert 'Pooch' Mullins of Curwensville, Rev. William Mullins of Northern Cambria, Cleon 'Sonny' Mullins of Grampian, Merlin Mullins of Grampian, Byron Mullins of Grampian, James Mullins of Syracuse, UT and Richard Mullins of Sogden, UT; and four sisters, Edna Nelen of Grampian, Pat Conner of Youngsville, Ada Hutton of Ansonville and June Bennett of New Kent, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew C. Anderson on October 10, 2001 and whom she wed July 12, 1952 in Clearfield.

Funeral services will be held at the Grampian Church of God on Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Leslie Bloom officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and at church on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Penn Highlands DuBois Hospice, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801.
