Obituary for Gregory James Gormont
Gregory James Gormont, 38, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at his home.
He was born on October 29, 1977 in Frenchville, a son of Martin and Natalie Gormont.
Greg had most recently been employed with Howell Paving. He had also worked for Bowmans Masonry, Hawbakers Construction and Brian J. Owens Excavating. Greg enjoyed riding ATV's, hunting and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins.
He was a member of Cornerstone Community Fellowship, Wallaceton
In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his wife, Ashley (Graham) Gormont whom he wed on May 17, 2014 in Wallaceton; two sons, Camden and Dylan Gormont; two sisters, Jennifer Taylor and husband Jeremy and Micha Gormont; a nephew, Kaleb Taylor; his grandmother, Lena Gormont; his father-in-law Dean Graham and companion Laura Lahoda; his mother-in-law, Patty Hannah and husband Dan; a step sister, Brandi Matsko; his former wife, Mindy Gormont; and his former in-laws, Sandy and Gary Harrier.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lewis Gormont.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Matt Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-7 PM and on Monday from 10-11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Bank and Trust, c/o Greg Gormont Fund, 11 North Second Street, Clearfield.
