Thursa M. Falvo, 84, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her home.

She was born on October 16, 1932 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Ronald and Gladys (Wilson) Tibbens.

She enjoyed being a member of the Coderie Club. She was also a member of NON, the Clearfield Women's Club, the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6 Auxiliary and the Christ United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
Mrs. Falvo was employed as the After School Program Director for 8 1/2 years at the St. Paul DiLa Sal School.

She was the last of her generation.
She is survived by two sons, Ron and Bob; two step-daughters, Yvonne and Diane, both of CA; four grandchildren, Robert Selfridge, Cari Friend, Ashlee Wessel and Jason Selfridge; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Neil Selfridge in 1976; and her second husband, Salvatore 'Sam' Falvo on September 22, 2002 and whom she wed April 28, 1984 in Granda Hills, CA. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Peggy Johnson, Donna Rowles and Patricia Siverling; and a brother, Charles Tibbens and a grandson, Brandon Selfridge.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, on Friday at Noon with Rev. Robert Croft officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 11 AM until Noon.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 705 Dorey Street, Clearfield.
