Obituary for Charlene M. Kephart (McCoy)
Charlene M. Kephart, 70, of Penfield died on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born on May 11, 1947 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Carl D. Sr. and Nora D. (Hand) McCoy.
Charlene was a housewife and had also been employed by Shortway Products for 9 years. She was an avid Steelers fan and a former member of the Penfield Grange.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel L. Kephart; two children, Wendy Newdick of Pittsburgh and Jeremy Kephart and wife Wendy of Penfield; three grandchildren Dylan and Vanessa Kephart and Minerva Newdick; two sisters, Sue McCoy of Clearfield and Patsy Livelsberger of McSherrystown; and a brother, Carl 'Mike' D. McCoy and wife Helen of Glen Richey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jesse Kephart and Daniel L. Kephart II.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Dave Miller. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hillcrest Cemetery, 908 Richard Street, Clearfield.
