Obituary for John C. Sutherland II

John C.  Sutherland II
John C. Sutherland II, of Clearfield died on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.

He was born on November 23, 1955 in Cleveland, OH, a son of Betty (Pfeil) Sutherland of Johnstown and the late John C. Sutherland.

John was employed at Bob's Army Navy in Clearfield. He was also a gun enthusiast and enjoyed HO Scale model trains and served with the US Marine Corps.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion, Liz Shaw of Clearfield; five children, Brandy Newton of MI, John Sutherland III of Johnstown, Rebekah Boley and husband Dustin of MI, Sarah Golden and husband Derek of MO and Helena Sutherland of MT; three sisters, Heather Johnson of Johnstown, Bonnie Bury of Maple Valley, WA, Tammy Sanders of Johnstown and Wayne Sutherland of Johnstown; and eleven grandchildren.

At the request of Mr. Sutherland, there will be no services held at this time.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL, 32256.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements.
