Catherine Ann Dotts McDowell, 87, of Clearfield died on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her home.

She was born on October 20, 1930 in Reynoldsville, a daughter of the late Nick and Catherine (Bradenbaugh) Fusco.

Ann was a graduate from Reynoldsville High, class of 1948. She then studied in Philadelphia and came to work at the Clearfield Hospital, retiring after more than forty years. Ann was very active in The Presbyterian Church, Clearfield where she was a Deacon for some time. She was also an avid reader with a love of crossword puzzles and long time Steelers and Nittany Lion fan. She spent retirement years traveling to visit kids and grandkids, really enjoying those trips throughout her later life. She volunteered many years with the American Cancer Society as well as the Bloodmobile.

She is survived by six children, Karen Auman, Jeff McDowell, Kelly McDowell, Mark McDowell, Brad McDowell and Craig McDowell; sixteen grandchildren; some great grandchildren; a brother, Nick Fusco; a niece, Kelly Fusco; and many cousins and bunches of friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at 10 AM with Rev. Jimmy Hopper officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Joy Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-6 PM and Saturday from 9-10 AM.
