Obituary for Anna Belle Maines (Timblin)

Anna Belle  Maines (Timblin)
Anna Belle Maines, 87, of Clearfield died on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

She was born on February 2, 1931 in Woodland, a daughter of the late Arnold Orr and Rosanna (Bennett) Timblin.

Mrs. Maines was employed as a care nurse at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as well as the Clearfield Hospital. She had also worked at Shortway Products.

She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Gallaher and husband Roger of Mineral Springs, Gail Sloppy of Grampian, and Glenna Jones and husband Butch of West Grove; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Violet Maines of Clearfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis David 'Red' Maines on August 6, 2008; a daughter, Gwen Frances Maines; and two brothers, Arnold L. Timblin Sr. and Robert Timblin.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment will be in the Stoneville Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 108R North Second St., Suite 1B, Clearfield.
