Obituary for Roxie J. Curry (Eldridge)
Roxie J. Lippert Curry, 95, of Curwensville died on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born on July 16, 1922 in Stronach, a daughter of the late Willis and Annabelle (Spencer) Eldridge.
Mrs. Curry was formerly employed by the Clearfield County Homemakers, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Curwensville Alliance Church and the Chestnut Ridge Homemakers. She was also active in the Clearfield County Extension and served on various committees.
She is survived by her son, Michael Lynn Lippert of Curwensville; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many other family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd G. Lippert on July 23, 1993 and whom she wed June 28, 1941 in Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by three sons, John F. Lippert, Harold Lippert and Lester Lippert.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Curwensville Public Library, 601 Beech Street, Curwensville.
