Betty Amon Owens Libreatori, 87, formerly of Woodland, died on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Ridgeview Eldercare and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

She was born on July 21, 1930 in Eden, a daughter of the late Glenn and Annabelle (Condon) Amon.

Mrs. Libreatori was employed as Bradford Township Tax Collector for 25 years until her retirement in 1998. Prior, she worked Sears and Roebuck, Clearfield, the Clearfield Quaker Market and Airplane Marine.
She was a member of Christian Alliance Church, Clearfield were she served as deaconess, taught Sunday school teacher and belonged to the Alliance Women's prayer group and Women's Missionary Fellowship.

She is survived by her husband, Donald A. Libreatori; three children, Carole Karchner and husband Richard of Clearfield, Janice Sell and husband Craig of Roaring Spring, and Stanley C. Owens and wife Ressa of Beech Creek; three step-sons, Donald Libreatori and wife Brenda of Woodland, David A. Libreatori and wife Eunice of Woodland, and Michael L. Libreatori and wife Mary Lou of Frenchville, four grandchildren, Jacque Spotts and husband Scott, Timothy Owens and wife Erin, Matthew Karchner and wife Rebakah and Karinn Gartmann and husband Michael; five step-grandchildren, Joshua Libreatori, Adrianne Hertlien, Leah Libreatori, Alyssa Libreatori and Hope Libreatori; six great grandchildren, Hannah and Rachel Spotts and Caroline, Katie and Tucker Owens, Dax Gartmann; two sisters, Beryl Wallace of Clearfield and Judy Gustafson of DuBois; two brothers James Amon and wife Christine of Woodland and David Amon and wife Sarah of Shawville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence O. Owens.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 10 AM with Dr. Duane White officiating. Interment will be in the Eden Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7 PM and on Monday from 9-10 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Christian Alliance Church, Clearfield, 45 Alliance Road Clearfield, PA, 16830.
