Jeannette L. Yatta, 59, of Clearfield, died Saturday, December 23, 2006, at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born Feb. 14, 1947, at Clearfield, she was a daughter of Josephine M. Payton.
Mrs. Yatta was employed at JG Food Warehouse, where she worked in the deli. Previous to that, she was employed by the former Clearfield Cheese Plant, the former Shortway Products and the Clearfield Area School District.
She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Yatta, whom she wed Dec. 24, 2002.
Also surviving are a son, Lance E. Weber and his wife, Jeannette, of Lawrence, Mass.; three grand- children, Kane, Romello and Chassity; a sister, Margaret A. McCray and her husband, Ishman, of Los Angeles; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; a son, Torrey Weber; and an infant daughter.
Funeral services will be held at Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Emmett Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10-11 a.m.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
