Carol Ann Dale, 79,of Clearfield passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2017 at her home.

She was born on November 15, 1937 in Irvona, a daughter of the late Charles Cecil and Lenora (Johnston) Morris.

After raising her six children, Carol enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren as well as numerous other children. She was known as Mee-Maw to many.
Carol was a member of The Presbyterian Church, Clearfield where she was involved with Debra Circle Bible Study and always enjoyed the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class. She had also served as a deacon. Carol was a part of the Christian Missionary Alliance Bible Study in Clearfield. She and her family enjoyed camping, which led her to be a member of the National Campers and Travelers. She was also an active member of The United Commercial Travelers, a fraternal organization. She and Chet also enjoyed square dancing with the Chinkalamoose Square Dancers.

She is survived by her husband, Chester 'Chet' R. Dale; six children, Janet Boyd and husband Mark of Clearfield, Nancy Dale of Clearfield, Arlene Perry and husband Leroy of Lancaster, Paul Dale and fiance Robyn Bumbarger of Morrisdale, Donna Rineer and husband Edgar of Cresson and John Dale and wife Diane of South Chesterfield, VA; twelve grandchildren, Denise Boyd, Derrick Dale, Kayla Dale, Kevin Dale, Albert Hunsiker IV, Chirstopher Hunsiker, Mathew Hunsiker, Breanna Dale, Dean Rineer, Jill Rineer, Gavin Dale and Erica Dale; ten great grandchildren; two siblings, Robert Morris and wife Helen of Winston Salem, NC and Patricia Zelenski and husband Joseph of Montoursville; two other special children whom she considered her own, Trina Kemp of West Palm Beach, FL and Mark Bailey of Clearfield; nine nieces and three nephews.

Funeral services will be held at The Presbyterian Church, Clearfield on Friday at 11 AM with Rev. Jimmy Hopper and Mr. Richard Barkley officiating. Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, Ansonville.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday from 4-7 PM and at the church on Friday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Presbyterian Church, 119 North Second Street, Clearfield.
