Terry J. Peters, 62, of Stronach died on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at UPMC Montefiore.

He was born on June 14, 1955 in Clearfield, a son of Neldon and Jane (Wisor) Peters of Mineral Springs.

Terry retired from the Railroad after more than 30 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting with his dogs and turkey hunting. He also liked to paint and cook and was a member of Banner Ridge Church, Mahaffey

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Autumn (McCracken) Peters of Stronach; three children, Bridget Hammond and husband Mason, Jason Peters, and Jesse Peters, all of Bedford; four grandchildren, Amanda Miller and husband Ryan, Micah Peters, Jacob Peters, and Jared Hammond; two great grandchildren, Aurora and Aidric; and three sisters, Carrie Lynn Peters of Clearfield, Shelly Flango and husband Tony of Houtzdale, and Kelly Graham and husband Rodney of Egypt. He was also loved by all of his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Nancy Peters; and his maternal grandparents, Allen and Esther Wisor.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Monday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4 PM and Monday from 10-11 AM.
