Obituary for Ann K. Law (Krebs)

Ann K. Law, 86,of Clearfield died on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

She was born on November 11, 1931 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Henry L. and Delia (Beahan) Krebs.

Mrs. Law retired as the Assistant to the Publisher in charge of business at The Progress newspaper, where she was employed for many years.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield where she also was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society. Mrs. Law was also a former member of the Old Town Players.

She is survived by her husband, Clair M. Law whom she married on September 8, 1956 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield; a daughter, Mary Ann McMullen and husband Brian of Clearfield; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Didiano and husband Bruno of Pittsburgh and Jonathan McMullen of Clearfield; and three siblings, Thomas Krebs and wife Eleanor of Hilton Head, SC, Mary Michael of Clearfield, and Msgr. Henry Krebs of Clearfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Krebs.

Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Msgr. Henry L. Krebs and Fr. Brandon M. Kleckner as celebrants. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 9:30-10 AM.

At the funeral home on Tuesday, a Christian Vigil service will be at 1:45 PM and the Rosary will be recited at 5:45 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis School, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 or to DuBois Central Catholic, PO Box 567, DuBois, PA 15801.
