Precious Letter

When I was saved after reading a Gideon New Testament aboard the USS Enterprise, I immediately wrote Bro. Jack telling him of my salvation experience and my call to the ministry. He wrote me the most inspiring and affirming letter. I carried it for many years. My first sermon was preached at his church in Hammersley. I have often referred to him and the letter in many sermons. The most recent was last night as I preached an ordination service for a young man who answered the call under my ministry. My prayers are with Mrs. Lois, his daughters and family. Bro Jack graduated with Honors on April 25, 2018.
