Esther Louise Neeper, 78

of Clearfield died on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her home.

She was born on December 27, 1939 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Leonard Lee 'Hoppy' Glace, Sr. and Betty Louise (Miller) Glace.

Esther was a homemaker and also employed as a waitress and server at multiple establishments in the area.
She was a member of the ladies auxiliaries of the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6 , the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars F. Michael Sicks Post No. 1785 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812.

She is survived by her children, Edward Neeper, Jr. and wife Lorie (Jeannie) of Curwensville, Earl Neeper and wife Annette of Clearfield, Brenda Sloppy and husband Gerald of Ansonville, Anita Voss and husband Donald of Manassa, VA, Tina Neeper of Clearfield and Brian Neeper of Butler; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Kephart and Thelma Maines, both of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Leroy Neeper on April 23, 1997 and whom she wed December 19, 1958 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leonard 'Sonny' Glace, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2:30 pm with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow in the Centre Cemetery, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 - 2:30 pm.
