Ruth T.  Plubell (Valimont)
Ruth T. Plubell, 83, of Curwensville, formerly of Karthaus, died on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

She was born on January 19, 1935 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Royer) Valimont.

Mrs. Plubell was a homemaker, enjoying her time raising seven children. She had also worked at the Five and Dime in Clearfield, Benton's Market in Karthaus and was a waitress at the Travelport Truck Stop in Milesburg.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville

She is survived by seven children, Timothy Plubell and wife Darlene of Frenchville, Karen Dickson and husband Thomas of Cold Water, MI, Dennis Plubell and wife Mary Jane of Blue Springs, MO, Laurie Hoffman and husband Dennis of Karthaus, Tina Plubell of Quakertown, John Plubell of Quakertown, Alice Wilson and husband Randy of Karthaus; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters Velda Stevens of Curwensville and Mary Lee Fulesday of Texas; a brother Eugene Valimont of Frenchville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred A. Plubell on September 8, 1987; an infant son; a grandson; four sisters, Rita Graham, Violet Billote, Ethel Dunlap and Marian Hess; and four brothers, Bernard, Clyde, Richard and Ronald Valimont.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Frenchville on Thursday at 11 AM with Father Philip Billotte officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from 4-7 PM and at the church on Thursday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, PO Box 159, Frenchville, PA 16836.
