Condolence: Such a great loss for everyone who knew Denny. My sincere condolences to his family. We attended Eisenhower College together and the many memories of him can still bring me to laughter. He was smart and funny, and his legacy will live on in the stories we still tell about "Gearhart" and our time together at EC. Rest in peace. You will be missed.
Deb aka "Sharpe" Eisenhower College class of 1976.

Condolence: I'm saddened to read of the loss of Denning, who was such a respected student leader during his years at Eisenhower College. Sharp, witty...he just naturally attracted admiring friends. Regrettably, our paths had not crossed since our undergraduate years. Thoughts and prayers for him and his family. David Catherman, Eisenhower '72

Condolence: I, too, was a classmate of Denny's at Eisenhower College now nearly 50 years ago. I remember him fondly for the true grit that always seemed to animate him as he faced down a world full of obstacles to overcome. And, overcome them he did!

Condolence: Sadly, I learned of Denny's passing just moments ago in the Eisenhower Alumni Newsletter. Though it's been many years since I'd seen him, I have great memories of Denny...his intelligence...his courage...his humor and his friendship. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Condolence From: Rick & Jacki Kendrick
Condolence: I am sorry to hear of his passing. I first met Denny when he worked the concession stand at the Community Pool when I was a kid. He had a great sense of humor about him and loved a good battle of wits with anyone about nearly anything ! He fought hard for everything he conquered in life and I greatly admired him for that. This community has lost another stand out figure and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Thinking of you all, Rick

I encountered Denny on a daily basis years ago while we both were working in town, he always had a funny story to tell me about something or someone. Denny was very kind hearted, and always thinking of others. Denny was also adventurous and thrill seeking. I was fortunate to have been able to call him a friend. Prayers to his family and friends.

Prayers, Jacki
