Alexander Burnisky

Alexander E. Burnisky, 89

of Clearfield died on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Clearfield Hospital.

He was born on December 14, 1914 in Munson, a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Sincavage) Burnisky.

Mr. Burnisky retired in 1972 from Ford Motor Company after many years of service. He was a well known light- heavyweight boxer throughout the area and was involved for several years in the construction of the Panama Canal.
Mr. Burnisky was Catholic by faith.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Spanogle) Burnisky, whom he married in 1939.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, on Friday at 6:00 PM with Msgr. Henry Krebs officiating. Interment will be in the New Richmond Cemetery, New Richmond.
