Alice M. Gogley, 90
of Maple Avenue, Clearfield died on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at her residence.
She was born on August 10, 1912 in Clearfield, PA, a daughter of the late Levi and Gussie (Hitchings) Ardery.
Mrs. Gogley was a homemaker and a member of the Salvation Army.
She is survived by four children,
Frank E. Gogley and wife Frances Clearfield
David L. Gogley and wife Lana Moody, AL
Betty J. Walker Hershey
Joann Graham and husband David Clearfield
eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter,
a sister
Stella Conaway Sligo
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gogley, on February 28, 1974 whom she married on January 21, 1933 in Somerset, a grandson, brothers Glenn, James, Russell and Kenneth Ardery and sisters Anna Ruth Hess and Alberta Woods.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at
2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4:00 PM and on Monday from 1-2:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Salvation Army Christmas Fund, 119 Byers Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
