Alice Rose Walker, 82, of Bigler died on Monday, March 5, 2007 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on September 5, 1924 in Bigler, a daughter of the late William Charles and Julia Catherine (Williams) Korb.
Mrs. Walker was employed for many years as a Registered Nurse at Clearfield Hospital and later at Philipsburg Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd Walker; two sisters and four brothers, Levoy Jane Tomasini and husband Raymond of Westfield, MA, Dora Korb of Bigler, James Korb and wife Mildred of Meriden, CT, Harold Korb and wife Thelma of Wallingford, CT, Arthur Korb of Bigler and Harry Korb and wife Nancy of Tonawanda, NY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey and Charles Korb and a sister Nellie Davis.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Russell L. Mencer officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockton Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of ones choice.
