Allen R. DeLisle, 75
of Clearfield died on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on June 21, 1928 in LeContes Mills, a son of the late Hillary and Elsie (Gardner) DeLisle.
Mr. DeLisle was employed in the strip mines for forty four and one half years, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of Saint Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and a past member of the Mosquito Creek Sportsmen's Club and the Sons of Italy Lodge of Clearfield.
He is survived by three children,

2 grandsons,
David DeLisle and his wife Holly
Doug DeLisle
a sister,
Frances Kersting Gloversville, NY
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther K. (Loverso) DeLisle on August 29, 2003 and whom he married April 14, 1951 in St. Mary's, four brothers and a sister Dennis, Edmund , Leon and Lawrence DeLisle and Alma Miller.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Monday at 10:00 AM with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM.
A Christian Vigil service will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:45 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield.
