Alma B. Neff, 84
of Clearfield died on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at her residence.
She was born on April 15, 1918 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Lawrence Bathurst and Elda (Deeter) Bathurst Crissman.
Mrs. Neff was formerly employed by Bloom's Insurance Agency and Fullington Auto Bus Company, both of Clearfield and also by Allegheny Electronics in Altoona.
She was a member of the Centre Grove United Methodist Church, Hyde and the Coterie Club.
She is survived by a daughter,
Barbara Marrara and husband Joseph F. Clearfield
four grandchildren,
eight great grandchildren,
and one great great grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Neff in March of 1969 and whom she married September 1, 1934 in Altoona, a son W. Herbert Neff and brothers Herbert L. Bathurst and an infant brother Terrence David Bathurst.
Funeral services will be held at Centre Grove United Methodist Church, Hyde on Monday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Gary L. Daugherty officiating. Committal services followed by interment will be in the Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood on Monday at 3:00 PM.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday from
2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Monday at the church from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Centre Grove United Methodist Church, 1102 Village Road, Clearfield or American Cancer Society, 119 E. Market Street, Clearfield.
