Alvin E. Koozer, 83, of Clearfield passed away on February 22, 2025 at the Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
He was born November 18, 1941, the son of the late Ashley and Margaret (Curry) Koozer.
Alvin worked for the former Piper Aircraft until its closing, then finished his working career at Neff Construction.
Mr. Koozer served with the U.S. Navy from 1959-1962.
Alvin is survived by his wife Norene (Schenk) Koozer whom he wed April 24, 1964;a son, Chris Koozer and wife Renee of Cumming, GA; a grandson, Matthew Koozer and wife Christina of Woodstock, GA; and a great grandson, Benjamin Alvin Koozer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant daughter, Theresa Koozer; siblings, Ethel Irwin, Martha Kimbell, Clara Kovac, Mildred Haley, Vernon Koozer, Harold 'Tom' Koozer, and Raymond Koozer.
Honoring Alvin's wishes, there will be no public services. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
