Anne Louise Stiner, 69, passed away August 9, 2024 at her home in Clearfield.
Born February 15, 1955 in Olean, NY to Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. and Dorothy A. (Clark) Stiner. Anne was the eldest of four sisters.
Anne attended Clearfield Area High School and was a part of the class of 1973. Anne made her life as a seamstress, cashier, merchandiser, and tractor/trailer dispatcher. She also owned a ceramic business with her sister, Bev which they greatly enjoyed. Anne loved to paint and create items to sell in their shop while helping people learn the art as well.
Out of all the jobs Anne held she loved being a dispatcher the most. Anne enjoyed figuring out how to get enough items in the load to make a good trip for the driver and then being able to get that driver from point A to B and back home again. Anne flourished in the stories the drivers would tell her. She was complimented numerous times on how well she did her job. The compliments that meant the most to her were from her drivers. Anne grew up in the trucking world as her father was a driver and she had many other family members involved in the business as well.
Anne enjoyed collecting bears, snow globes, cookbooks, and tigers. Anne retired at age 62 to enjoy time at home crafting and with her beloved dogs Lacey/Bitsy(deceased) and Icy.
Anne is survived by her two sisters Amy Lynn (Stiner) Derrick of Goshen, Beverly Joann (Stiner) Sager and her husband Howard (Gene) E. Sager Jr. of Clearfield; a niece Lynnette Lesle (Derrick) Pistner and her husband Andrew George Pistner Jr. of Goshen; two nephews Scott Daniel Breon of Goshen and Charles (C.J.) Jeffery Sager and his wife Christina of Glendive, MT and their three sons Wyatt, Mason and Carson.
Anne was preceded in death by both of her parents and younger sister, Becky Sue Stiner.
As per Anne's request there will be no services. Interment will be at Centre Cemetery in Hyde. She will be laid to rest alongside her grandparents, parents and sister.
If anyone wishes to make a memorial contribution, please send to an animal shelter of your choice or the Shriners Hospital. Those were two places Anne loved to give donations to help out.
