Anson W. "Tom" Bloom, 63
of Hyde died on Friday, April 12, 2002 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on April 25, 1938 in Johnstown, PA, a son of Wilma M. (Myers) Bloom of Clearfield and the late Anson H. Bloom.
Mr. Bloom was the owner and operator of Bloom Trucking until his retirement. He also drove for his father, Brown Bros. and Waroquier Coal Co.
He was Protestant by faith, a member of the Clearfield Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #97, the National Rifle Association and the Antique Car Club.
In addition, he served with the National Guard for six years.
On October 5, 1960 in Maryland he wed the former Mary Ann Gearhart who survives along with a daughter,
C. Melissa 'Missy' (Bloom) Sell and husband Jeff Glen Richey
three brothers,
Robert D. Bloom Clearfield
James L. Bloom Clearfield
Gerald D. Bloom Kerrmoor
and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11:00 AM.
