Anthony J. Gaeta, 91, of DuBois died on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
He was born on May 14, 1926 in Tuxedo Park, NY a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Arietta) Gaeta.
Mr. Gaeta was a graduate of Tri State University in Angola, IN with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was employed by the PA Department of Transportation as a District Director.
He attended Clearfield Alliance Church and was a veteran World War II, serving with the US Navy. Throughout his life, he was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing, especially big game and turkey hunting. Mr. Gaeta was proud member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Shulick) Gaeta; and a brother, Mike Gaeta and wife Elizabeth of NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Amelia and Antoinette; and three brothers, Albert, John and Louis.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday at 3 PM with Rev. Robert B. Goldenberg officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-3 PM.
