Antonio Capille, Jr.

Antonio S. Tony Capille Jr., 88, of Clearfield and formerly of Bargaintown, NJ, died on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on October 13, 1917 in Bargaintown, NJ, a son of the late Antonio S. and Antonia (Pagano) Capille.
Mr. Capille was employed with the South Jersey Gas Company for 38 years. In addition, he owned and operated a vegetable farm for many years.
He was a life-time member of the Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Company.
Mr. Capille was a combat veteran of WWII, serving in North Africa and Europe with the 645th Tank Destroyer Battalion.
He is survived by his wife, Rose (Panarello) Capille, whom he wed January 3, 1943 in Pleasantville, NJ; two children, Antonio S. Capille, III of Las Vegas, NV and Annette G. Ryan and her husband, Michael, of Clearfield; five grandchildren, Antonio S. Capille, IV of Ventnor, NJ, Nina E. Capille of New York, NY, Caitlin R. Ryan, Jennie R. and Johanna R. Ryan all of Clearfield; a brother, Anthony Capille of Cologne, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Augustus, Joseph and John Capille.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and Clearfield VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday from 7-9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9-9:30 AM
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield PA 16830
