Barbara Ellen Henry, 87

of Clearfield and formerly of Grampian died on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on August 4, 1915 in Grampian, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph Clyde 'Kitty' and Ida Elizabeth (Price) Hepburn.

Mrs. Henry was employed as a waitress at the former R & V Restaurant in Grampian.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Grampian and a member of the former Grampian Sewing Club.

She is survived by four children,
Ann Carey Williamsport
Bernette Henry Curwensville Sandra Mullins and husband Byron Grampian
Gary Henry and wife Linda Grampian
Amy Barger Goldsboro

nine grandchildren,
Tracy, Stacey, Cathy, Corinne, Jeffry, Chad, Jason, Jamie and Matthew

eleven great grandchildren,

a sister,
Ella Jane Johnson Grampian

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin James Henry on June 1, 1943 and whom she married December 24, 1937, brothers Joseph, Donald, Ray, James, Ralph and infant Gerald Lee and sisters Ruth Rafferty and infant Verna Pearl.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday at
2:00 P.M. with Rev. Emmett Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Thursday from
2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Friday from 1-2:00 PM

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Disease & Related Disorders, Inc., 441 Smithfield Street Building, Pittsburgh PA 15222
