Barbara Leonard, 78, of Telford, formerly of Clearfield, died on Friday, November 26, 2010 at Lutheran Community at Telford.
She was born on October 30, 1932 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Edgar and Buelah (Lingle) Kolbe.
Mrs. Leonard retired in 2007 from Burger King, Montgomeryville after 30 years of service.
She was a member of the International Order of Eastern Star Chapter #64, the White Shrine #22, and the Order of Amaranth. Mrs. Leonard was a 1950 graduate of Clearfield High School.
She is survived by her husband, William R. Leonard Sr., whom she wed April 25, 1952 in Clearfield, two children, William R. Leonard Jr. of Sheridan, MT and Patti J. Worthington of Woxall, five grandchildren, William R. Leonard III of Orting, WA, Lyle Leonard of Denver, CO, Cassandra Leonard of New Tripoli, Lisa M. Cressman of Telford and Patricia Davenport of Woxall, a brother and two sisters, Theodore Kolbe of Philipsburg, Patricia Watrous of Land O Lakes, FL and Shirley Bowers of Clearfield and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Robert Kolbe.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at Congress Hill Cemetery, LeContes Mills with Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
At the request of Mrs. Leonard, there will be no public services.
The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
