Barbara Miller

Barbara J. Miller, 73 of Clearfield died on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at her residence.

She was born on October 18, 1934 in Anoka, MN, a daughter of the late Arnold and Hazel (Maahs) Borchardt.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker.
She attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Clearfield where she was involved in Church Ministries. She was also a leader of the Western Pennsylvania District Bible Quizzing for Youth, an officer of the Alliance Women for many years and served on the Alliance Women District Retreat Committee.

She is survived by three children, Timothy Wayne Miller and wife Marlene of Marion, OH, Stephen Lee Miller and wife Melissa of Clearfield, and Donetta Jean Dupont and husband Tony of New Castle; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Kristin, Emily, Jacob, Caleb, Jenny, Summer and Makayla; three sisters, Judi Schuenke of MN, Donah Mae Broadhead of MN and Lois Kaye Johnson of MN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Donald W. Miller, on June 5, 2000 and whom she married September 20, 1957 in Hawley, MN, and her brother James Borchardt.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Paul Cope, of Mars, officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 1-2 PM.
