Barbara Ann Shirey , 66, of Frenchville was called home to the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2013.
She was born on June 10, 1947 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late James and Frances (Smith) Rougeux.
Barb was a school bus driver for 37 years and a mail carrier for four years. She loved to bake for Kunes Farms and also enjoyed cross-stitching.
She is survived by her husband William B. Shirey whom she wed March 16, 1963 in Clearfield; five children, Robert J Shirey and wife Janet of Frenchville, James R. Shirey of Frenchville, Jo Ann McCracken of Curwensville, Barbara A. Trimpey and husband Fred of Frenchville and Jennifer M. Rich and husband Matthew of Clearfield; twelve grandchildren, Mark, Brian and Bradley Spaid; Robert Shirey Jr.; Scott, Jonathan, Emily and Isaac Trimpey; James and Wade Shirey and Lilly and Laurel Rich; three great grandchildren, Valen and Colton Spaid and Andrea Spaid; and a brother and two sisters, Eugene Smith and wife Charlotte of Frenchville, Violet Shugerts and husband Kenneth of Frenchville and Sandy Kuhn and husband Roger of Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be be made to Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield.
