Benjamin Luther Williams, 64 of Hyde died on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

He was born on April 26, 1944 in Rochester, NY, a son of the late John Marshall and Edith Marie (Bietz) Williams.

Mr. Williams was a vendor at the Keystone Flea Market, Hyde. Prior to that, he was a truck driver in Hanover, PA.
He was a past president and member of the Hyde Fire Hall.
Mr. Williams was Protestant by faith and served in the US Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie M. (Carns) Williams, whom he wed December 21, 1963 in Clearfield,

two brothers and a sister,
Thomas L. Williams and wife Betty of Reading
Joy M. Bell of Auburn, GA
William B. Williams of Auburn, GA

a sister-in-law,
Maureen Bietz of Curwensville

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Robert E. Bietz and John M. Williams, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
