Bernard R. "Bernie" Dunsmore, 62
of Clearfield died on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on November 29, 1946 in Portage, a son of the late W. Douglas and Mary J. (Kondisko) Dunsmore.
Mr. Dunsmore owned and operated the Portage Sunshine Cleaners, Clearfield and later was employed by the Great American Resturant, Clearfield.
He was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812 and a social member of the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars F. Michael Sicks Post No. 1785.
He is survived by three brothers and a sister, Dwight Douglas Dunsmore and wife Sharon of Long Pond, James D. Dunsmore and wife Debra of Curwensville, William J. Dunsmore and wife Mary A. of Curwensville and Deborah Ann Dunsmore of Clearfield,
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death two brothers, an infant, Dale Dunsmore and Bruce A. Dunsmore.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at
7:00 P.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the St. Francis of Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7:00 PM
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice.
