Bernard W. Lytle, 80, of Clearfield died on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born on December 5, 1930 in Mineral Springs, a son of the late Arnold and Bessie (Lansberry) Lytle.
Mr. Lytle tended to the family farm in Bigler all of his life.
He is survived by five sisters, Lavoy Barger of Clearfield, Dorothy Shoffner of Drifting, Kay Stiner of LeContes Mills, Rosalie Buck and husband Henry of Woodland and Rosella Martin and husband Richard of Philipsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Lee Lytle and two sisters Norma Milligan and Esther Knee.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ, LeContes Mills on September 21, 2011 at 7:30 P.M. with Evangelist Raymond Stiner, nephew, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 N. Third Street, Clearfield.
