Betty L. Kulp, 74, of Clearfield died on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on August 6, 1931 in West Decatur, a daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Dahlstrom) Smeal.
Mrs. Kulp was employed at the former Brown's Boot Shop, Clearfield for 26 years. She then co-owned B and J's Boot Shop in Clearfield. She was a member of the United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband, Walter R. Kulp whom she wed in the Philipsburg Baptist Church in 1950; a daughter, Carolyn Duffee and husband Michael of Clearfield; two sisters, Pauline Bock and husband Gerald of Clearfield, Dorothy Jehu and husband Robert of DuBois; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Edward Smeal.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Joe Rohrbacker officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 6-9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10-11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 119 E. Market Street, Clearfield.
