Betty J. Peace, 67, of Curwensville died on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born on September 1, 1953 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Bloom) Gearhart.

Betty loved her family and the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Charles I. Peace whom she wed August 2, 1975; two daughters, Kelly Mathews and husband Larry, and Kimberly Peace; five grandchildren, Lawrence Mathews, III, Isaac Mathews, Gabrielle Peace, Cynthia Bonilla, and Elias Bonilla; a brother, Russell Gearhart,; two sisters, Barbara Cook and Judy Stephenson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Gearhart, Jr. and Richard Gearhart.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Curwensville on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 7 PM with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home from 5 PM until the time of services.
