Betty Jean Shimmel, 79 of Clearfield died on Monday, March 30, 2009 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on February 13, 1930 in West Decatur, a daughter of Pearl (Shimmel) Roseberry of Clearfield.
Miss Shimmel was employed by the former Kent's Sportswear and the former McGregor Sportswear.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield at the convenience of the family with Rev. J. Robert Mellgard officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
There will be no public visitation.
