Beverly Jean Kruies, 71

of Curwensville died on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on December 16, 1937 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Daniel and Jean (Shively) Irwin.

Mrs. Kruies was a homemaker.

She is survived by eight children, Debra Clark and husband Edward of Grampian, Patty Collins and husband John of Curwensville, John Kruies of DuBois, Pam Lippert of Clearfield, Tracy Kruies of DuBois, Susan Turner and husband Patrick of Grampian, Tina Flick of Newville, Tammy Lancaster of Clearfield,

23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren,

a sister and three brothers, Esther Lippert of Curwensville, Jesse Irwin and wife Rosalie of Curwensville, Ralph Irwin and wife Arbutus of Stronach, Fred Irwin and wife Shirley of Curwensville

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Kruies on September 29, 1994 and whom she married July 25, 1954 in Hepburnia and twin great-granddaughters, Madelyn & Makayla.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Monday at
11:00 AM with Pastor George W. Solley officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Monday from
10-11 AM.
