Boyd W. Yeager, 80
most recently of Dover, FL and formerly of Curwensville and DuBois, died on Sunday, August 7, 2005 at his residence in Florida.
He was born on September 25, 1924 in Pitcairn, a son of the late Charles E. and Sara Alice (Bowser) Yeager.
Mr. Yeager was an automobile mechanic, retiring in 1979 from Ross Buick in Clearfield.
He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Cork, FL.
A veteran of the US Army, he served for three years during WW II in the 91st Bombardment Group. During that time he received many citations including the Distinguished Flying Cross and three bronze Oak Leaf Clusters.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Lasher) Yeager whom he married January 27, 2001 in Dover, FL,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances J. (Swisshelm) Yeager on March 4, 1999 and whom he married February 8, 1943 in Amarillo, TX and a sister, Mildred Wislocky.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Paul Wislocky officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9:00 PM and on Friday from
10-11:00 AM.
