Brenda D. Haskins, 75, of Clearfield passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born on July 13, 1948 in Westmoreland County, a daughter of the late David and Edwina (Chinnock) Swank.
Brenda had been employed as an independent insurance agent and had also worked in the banking industry. She enjoyed crafting, painting, ceramics and decorating. She was part of the 'Creative Memories' group with her friends and enjoyed giving some of her creations away to friends and family.
She is survived by her fiancé, Donald Catalano of Clearfield; three siblings, Trudy Hipps and husband Tim of Hershey, Gregory Swank and wife Phyllis of Bigler, and Tom Swank of Clearfield; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Swank of DE. Brenda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who were devoted to her over the years and with whom Brenda had enjoyed staying in touch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Swank; and a sister, Barbara Short.
A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Monday at 5 PM with Lisa Covington officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-5 PM.
