Brian K. Carns, 54, of Hyde died on Thursday, March 7, 2013.
He was born on November 28, 1958 in Clearfield, a son of the late Philip and Esther (Cupler) Carns.
Brian graduated from Clearfield High School in 1976. After graduation, he was employed at Rockwell Co., DuBois for over 30 years. Also, Mr. Carns worked at Palumbo's, DuBois, the Walmart Supercenter in Clearfield and most recently at A.L.M. Machine Shop, Philipsburg. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by three children Clifford Joseph Carns of Emporium, Heather Territo and husband Jayson of DuBois and Stephanie Myers of Dubois; two grandsons Shaquan Carns and Kameron Territo; and two sisters Bonnie Williams of Hyde and Diana Bloom and husband James R. of Clearfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Debra Ann Mancini; a brother Clifford E. 'Kip' Carns; and a brother-in-law Benjamin Williams.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 N. 3rd Street, Clearfield.
