Brian G. Wisor, 59, of Mineral Springs died on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on July 5, 1946 in Mineral Springs, a son of the late Ralph and Olive Wisor.
Mr. Wisor was previously employed by Kurtz Brothers from 1968 to 1978.
He was a member of the Spring Valley United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #812.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn E. (Rauch) Wisor, whom he married September 26, 1966 in Spring Valley; two children, Jason T. Wisor and wife Cristel of Mineral Springs, Carla Young and husband James of New Millport; three grandchildren, Justin Wisor, Christen Wisor and Cory Young, his step mother, Beryl Wisor of Mineral Springs; a brother and two sisters, Larry Wisor of Buffalo, NY, Linda Kicher of Somerset, and Cinda Robinson of Sumter, SC; two step brothers and three step sisters, Danny Wisor of NY, Jeff Wisor of NY. Nannette Wisor of Woodland, Martha Calabro of NY and Sherrie Jury of Bellefonte.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Young.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Stanley M. Wisor officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Valley Cemetery, RR#1, West Decatur.
Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the members of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and Clearfield VFW Post #1785.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10-11:00 AM
