Bridget K. Nelen, 51, of Grampian died on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her mother’s home in Sanborn.

She was born on January 4, 1961 in Clearfield, a daughter of Mary Kay (McDonald) Yarger of Sanborn, and the late William Wilson.

Bridget was employed as a seamstress at Kent’s Sportswear, Curwensville and Navasky Clothing, Philipsburg. She always looked forward to camping and riding four-wheelers with her family. She also loved to travel and visit different states.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Donald P. 'Country' Nelen, whom she wed December 15, 2000 in Clearfield; a brother and sister, Randy 'Flip' Wilson of Grampian and Valerie Johnston and husband Dale of Curwensville; a half brother and two half sisters, William Wilson, Jr. and wife Mary Lou of Woodland, Sandy Coble and husband Denny of Woodland and Francis Reed of FL; several step brothers and step sisters; two nieces and a nephew, Sara Heitsenreher, Alysia Johnston and Pvt. Justin Johnston; and a great nephew Reese Heitsenreher.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step father Alex Yarger and a sister Charlotte Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Brian Vineyard officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 10-11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
