Burnice Doris Hayward

Burnice Doris Hayward, 66, of Clearfield died on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born on May 12, 1949 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Burnice (Griffin) Bloom.

Mrs. Hayward was employed for over 30 years at the former Kent's Sportswear, Curwensville. She also enjoyed crocheting and reading in her spare time and was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Curwensville.

She is survived by her husband, Louis James Hayward whom she wed August 30, 1969; two children, Melissa Wisor and husband Jason of Woodland and Michael Hayward and wife Rebecca of DuBois; three step daughters, Denise Millinder and husband Steve of West Decatur, Lisa Stephens and husband Emery of Shawville and Lori Miller of Clearfield; three grandchildren, Jacob Derek Holes, Kaya Paige Hayward and Ashley Paige Wisor; and three sisters and a brother, Sally Coxey, Sandy Turpin, Diane Rancik and Lloyd Bloom.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sister, Carol Hummel.

A memorial service will be held at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Curwensville on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment was held in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 725 Susquehanna Avenue, Curwensville.
