Carl L. Taylor, 75, of Woodland died on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Altoona Regional Medical Center.
He was born on August 22, 1936 in Shawville, a son of the late Rev. Harter S. and Margaret C. (Carbaugh) Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was employed as an accountant in the petroleum industry for over twenty years, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, the Clearfield Hospital Fit for Life program and the Clearfield YMCA Silver Sneakers program.
He graduated from the DuBois Business College and attended Juniata College.
He is survived by a brother and a sister, Rev. Stratford C. Taylor and wife Esther of Williamsport and Linda Kopp of Boalsburg; six nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Elizabeth Dexter and Dott Hooten.
Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, Woodland on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles J. Swenson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 115 Lake Street, Woodland, PA 16881.
