Carla K. Diggs, 58, of Clearfield died on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on January 19, 1965 in San Antonio, TX, a daughter of the late Daniel F. and Erma May (Goss) Moore.
Carla was employed as manager at Sheetz in Clearfield, until her disability. Carla, a faithful wife of 33 years, a mother of three, grandma of 12 and Great-grandma of one. She loves Jesus and her family fiercely. She always sought treasures at thrift stores, auctions and yard sales. Always the life of the party, dancing and joking with an infectious laugh and smile. Always such a giver she saw the best in everyone. Now she gives life to others through organ donation. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Diggs whom she wed August 25, 1990. Carla was blessed with three daughters, Patricia Coulter of Grampian, Jennifer Bellomy and husband Dustin of Mechanicsburg, and Danielle Raddings and husband Stuart of Clearfield; twelve grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters, Connie Vaughan of St. Albans, WV, Glenna Snyder and husband Gerald of GA, and Marlene Gallaher and husband Patrick of Glendale, AZ; and a brother, Daniel 'Gene' Moore and wife Eddie of Glendale, AZ.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday at 1 PM with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM - 1 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA 16830; or to the TCC (formerly Tri-County Church), 321 Mill Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.
