Carol A. Harford, 84, of Grampian died on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home.
She was born on November 3, 1936 in Grampian, a daughter of the late Ward and Faith (Way) McDonald.
Mrs. Harford was a seamstress by trade. Her hobbies included painting, sculpting, cake decorating and arranging flowers. At one point in her life, she had operated a Bible and Book store.
She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Curwensville
She is survived by her husband, Ralph E. Harford of Grampian; five children, Dayton Nixon and wife Mary of Woodland, Vernon Nixon of Grampian, Bonnie Bedward of VA, Victoria Eden of Beaufort, SC, and Carl Nixon and wife Denise of Bellefonte; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three brothers, John McDonald and wife Beulah of Walltown, Richard McDonald and wife Kathy of Bukuvo, Congo, and Joe McDonald of Oil City; and a sister, Barbara Smith and husband Harold of Bradenton, FL.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Curwensville on Monday at 5 PM with Pastor Todd Hogue officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2 - 5 PM
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Radio Kahuzi, PO Box 110173, Bradenton, FL 34211. This is a Christian radio station that is broadcast world wide.
