Carol Mowery

Carol A. Mowery, 66, of Woodland passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born on July 25, 1957 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Leon H. and Florence Marlene (Warren) Smeal.

Mrs. Mowery was employed as a Nurses Aid at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation, Clearfield for over 20 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing.

She is survived by her mother, Florence Marlene Smeal of Woodland; children, Patrick Mowery, Jr. of Shiloh, Angela Lumadue and husband Ed of Bigler, and Jamie Mowery of Shiloh; three grandchildren Nathan, Breelynn, and Aubree, six siblings, Deborah Welker of ID, Howard Smeal of Morrisdale, Lisa Clark and husband Gary of Mineral Springs, Dean Smeal and wife Diane of Shamokin, Robert Smeal and wife Cathy of Williamsport, and Laurie Lewis and husband Craig of Clearfield.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick G. Mowery on May 25, 2021 and whom she wed August 30, 1980. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Smeal.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 4 PM with Stanley Wisor officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 3-4 PM.
