Carolyn Lee Waring, 75, of Curwensville died on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born on May 25, 1945 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Rueben and Catherine (O'Donnell) McDonald.
Carolyn went to the Clearfield Beauty Academy and loved being a cosmetologist.
Her hobbies included crocheting, camping, traveling, gardening, and canning. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Carolyn loved God and used her faith to help guide her as she missed her husband dearly.
She is survived by two daughters, Evette Shaw and husband Timothy, and Angel Scribe and husband Samuel; seven grandchildren, Ashlee (Waring) Louis, Joshua Shaw, Curtis Shaw, Garrett Shaw, Hannah Shaw, Kyle Scribe, and Jackson Scribe; three great-grandchildren, Riley Standifer, Grace Shaw, and Parker Shaw; two sisters, Mary Kay Yarger, and Joan Brown; and a brother, William McDonald.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leroy Waring Sr.; a son, William Waring, Jr.; and three brothers, Thomas McDonald, James McDonald, and Edward McDonald.
Honoring Carolyn's wishes, there will be no public services.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
